유미주의자의 글쓰기와 여성 하위주체들의 욕망 -강신재의 초기 단편을 중심으로 -

Abstract

This research finds the meaning of an estheticism nature on the first stage of Kang Sin-jae’s novel in which it is focused on appearance of female subject who to be sense in the course of national reconstruction following after and before liberation. The reason why the novel of Kang Sin-jae was isolated from the main literary world had a desire of woman who rejects “a vertically superiority, morally superiority” (Kim Hayn), it focuses on being used the way for writing to make being sense more than reason with the way which against to the order of symbolized world of moral, a law, a regulation and an ideal. Her novelistic personas are aesthetes in the point of judging beauty and ugly depending on not a regulation but her sense. Aestheticism is what one try to experience life passionately, to pursue about life is protecting a desire over a social regulation or insisting because they believes that the deepest degree of judging things are based on themselves, in other words, it is based on themselves who can feel, and this may get joined on a desire that violates formation. For that, aesthetes may shape forms of an arrogant hedonist or may be a decadent who against social order. The writing of which Kang Sin-jae based on sensuously and trusts of sense is not anti age or not unreal in the point of which was not only fascinating of new sense which was incoming with Europeanization and Modernization but also it was based on reality in which social fear appeared. It seizes the point that culture was appeared which has sensuously and sumption and city culture was aroused in a sudden change of history in which was liberation and after and before war, and that fear and horror in Korean society of after and before war expressed with female-sense as medium. Especially, in the course of which fear of social confusion was getting joined on an imperative idea about harmony, the group which was to be a symbol as a stranger, a monster, on the other words, as others is appeared the point of a female subordinate subject as a foreigners whore, a widow and city woman. It may watch for the point of that politics of gender in 50’s, on the other words the body of female was engaging sharply politics between tradition and Western Europe, colonization and anti-colonization.
