본 연구의 목적은 단주 중인 알코올중독자의 삶과 사이코드라마를 통한 회복 경험의 의미가 어떠한지를 이해하는데 있다. 본 연구 자료는 대전 소재 중독관리통합지원센터 회원 5명을 대상으로 2012년 7월부터 9월까지 10회기에 걸친 사이코드라마의 실시와 심층 면접 자료를 중심으로 하였으며, Colaizzi의 현상학적 분석방법으로 분석하였다. 그 결과 회복 중인 알코올중독자의 경험은 ‘알코올중독자로서의 삶’과 ‘사이코드라마에 의한 회복 경험’의 2단계로 분석되었다. ‘알코올중독자로서의 삶’은 2개의 범주, 5개의 주제묶음, 16개의 주제로 구분되었고, ‘사이코드라마에 의한 회복경험’은 3개의 범주, 7개의 주제묶음, 22개의 주제로 구분되었다. ‘알코올중독자로서의 삶’의 범주는 ‘술로 시작된 인생’과 ‘흔들리는 가족’이었으며, ‘사이코드라마에 의한 회복 경험’의 범주는 ‘가족관계의 회복’, ‘자기통찰’, ‘새로운 삶에 대한 기대’ 등이었다. 이러한 결과를 통해 지역사회에 있는 알코올중독자를 위한 가족관계 개선과 자기통찰을 위한 프로그램의 확대가 필요하다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to identify the meaning and the essence of psychodrama experiences of recovering alcoholics. Data were collected through in-depth interviews after 5 participants attended 10 psychodrama sessions at the community addiction management center in D City from July till September of 2012. Data were analyzed using Colaizzi‘s phenomenological research method. The results were divided into two stages: ’life of alcoholics’ and ‘recovery by psychodrama’. ’Life of alcoholics’ resulted in 2 categories, 5 theme clusters, and 16 themes. ‘Recovery by psychodrama’ resulted in 3 categories, 7 theme clusters, and 22 themes. ’Life of alcoholics’ were categorized by ‘started life with alcohol’ and ‘precarious family’. ‘Recovery by psychodrama’ were categorized by ‘recovery of family relation’, ‘self-insight’, and ‘expectations for the new life'. Based on these results, it was suggested that psychodrama program be offered to improving family relationships and self-insight.
