2009 개정 교육과정에 따른 실과 ‘가정생활’ 영역의 수행표준 개발

Abstract

This study was carried out for the purpose to develop 'the performance standards' for the 'Home Life' area in Practical Arts, on the foundation of arranging precedent concepts of 'achievement standards' and reconstructing them to 'performance standards', with analysis of the 2009 revised Practical Arts curriculum. For attaining this purpose, this study established 'the performance standards development models of Practical Arts' by collecting data(materials), conducting analysis and synthesis, on the basis of precedent studies and documentaries, and then this study modified and supplemented through experts' examinations(reviews), developing the performance standards according to established models. The developed performance standards for the 'Home Life' area in Practical Arts were composed of 28 performance standards and 84 performance levels. The conclusion obtained from this study were as follows. First, this study used precedent achievement standards by reconceptualizing them into the performance standards which lay emphasis on the process and performance of learning, and this study had a significance in forming discussion(argument) on the term justification of 'performance standards'. Second, this study had a significance in enhancing the possibility of utilization with reflecting teachers' requirements by developing the performance standards in the standpoint of field teachers, whereas there were few performance standards developed by field teachers who practice the Practical Arts education. Third, in the case of setting the performance level to 3 stages, the high, the medium, and the low, there were different views(opinions) between the researchers and the experts group on setting the levels presented in the curriculum to the high or the medium, the agreement in this study was done to the medium level, and continuous studies on such are necessary.
