공명음 사이의 /ㅎ/의 실현에 대한 음성, 음운론적 고찰

Cha, Jaeeun & Jung, Myungsook & Shin, Jiyoung. 2003. A Phonetic and Phonological Study on /h/-realization between Sonorant Sounds. Korean Journal of Linguistics, 28-4, 765-784. The primary concern of this paper is to examine the realization of /h/ between sonorant sounds. For this purpose, ten subjects of standard Korean speaker were employed. The results of examination are: the relative frequency of /h/ deletion is determined by speech rate, the number of syllables within the domain of AP, and the distance from the AP-initial position. On the other hand, it turns out that the position of IP does not affect /h/ deletion. More specifically, /h/ deletion increases in the order of the followings: the scale of the preceding segments is lateral > nasal > vowel. In turn, the experiments showed the scale of m> n > ŋ among nasal consonants. Next, in terms of following segments to the target /h/, the frequency of /h/ deletion proved to be affected in the following scales: vowel > glides.
