이 연구는 초등 예비교사의 교육환경에 대한 요구와 인식을 확인하고 이를 바탕으로 실제적인 교육환경 개선 사례를 도출하기 위해 수행하였다. A교육대학교 3학년 24명의 연구 참여자가 참여적 실행연구 방법으로서 Liebenberg(2018)의 사진 찍기, 협업 해석을 통한 의미 탐색, 변화를 위한 전파 등의세 단계를 걸쳐 수행하였으며, 다음과 같은 시사점을 확인할 수 있었다. 첫째, 연구 참여자의 교육환경 개선을 위한 목소리를 담아낸 24건의 포토보이스에는 초등 예비교사각자의 교육환경에 대한 요구와 인식을 표출하고 있으며, 그 스펙트럼은 다양하게 펼쳐져 있음을 알수 있다. 둘째, 연구 참여자의 교육환경에 대한 요구와 인식을 분류하면 크게 ‘물리적 환경’과 ‘제도적 환경’ 으로 구분된다. ‘물리적 환경’은 운동장, 학습 공간, 실습 공간과 같은 ‘교육 시설’과 안전, 보건, 평등과관련된 ‘교육 지원 시설’로 구성된다. 또한, ‘제도적 환경’ 에는 SW 인프라 운영, 교육과정 운영, 도서관운영 등과 관련된 요구가 확인되었다. 셋째, 연구 참여자의 목소리를 대변하고 반영하여 정책 실현을 이끌어낸 결과, 실제적인 교육환경개선에 반영된 사례 2건을 도출하고 그 의미를 탐색하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to identify the needs and perceptions of pre-service elementary school teachers on the educational environment and to draw practical cases of educational environment improvement. This study was conducted by 24 participants in the third grade of A University of Education in three stages of Liebenberg (2018): making photographs, exploration of meaning through collaborative interpretation, and dissemination for change. The following implications were found. First, 24 photovoices containing the participants' voices for improving the educational environment express the needs and perceptions of each pre-service elementary school teacher's educational environment, and the spectrum is spread out in various ways. Second, the needs and perceptions of the participants on the educational environment are largely divided into physical environment and institutional environment. Physical environment consists of educational facilities such as playgrounds, learning spaces, and practice spaces, and educational support facilities related to safety, health, and equality facility. In addition, in the institutional environment, the requirements related to SW infrastructure, curriculum, and library operation were identified. Third, as a result of deriving the realization of the policy by representing and reflecting the voice of the participants, two cases reflected in the improvement of the actual educational environment were derived.
