우리나라는 1991년 韓國語文會 주관으로 漢字能力檢定試驗을 처음 시행한 이후 오늘날 10여개 이상의 단체에서 漢字能力檢定試驗을 치르고 있다. 漢字에 대한 사회적인 관심과 열기는 이전 시기와는 완전히 달라졌고 ‘漢字能力檢定試驗’과 ‘學習紙’ 등 漢字 관련 시장이 나날이 확대되고 있으나, 그에 따른 부작용 또한 만만치 않다.본고는 이러한 ‘漢字能力檢定試驗’ 시행에 따른 여러 가지 문제점을 짚어보고 그 대안을 마련해 보고자 하였으며, 그 중 특히 ‘시험의 목적’ ‘급수한자의 선정’ ‘문제 유형’ 등 현행 급수시험의 한계를 지적하고 새로운 방향을 제시하였다.
Abstract
The rediscovering about the standing examination for a license in the Chinese characters for common use in Korea攀 * Sungkyunkwan University, Professor / skkmh@yahoo.co.kr攀攀Lee Myung-hak*Nowadays, about 10 organizations has been taking an examination for a license in the Chinese characters for common use in Korea, since Korea Language Letter Society started taking it in 1991. The social interest and enthusiasm for a Chinese character are growing in contrast to former times and a market related to the Chinese character is also increasing more and more, but there are some side effects. This paper tries to treat the problems following an examination for a license in the Chinese characters for common use and make an alternative idea. Especially the object of the examination, the selection of Chinese characters by the level, and the type of a question was treated preponderantly by pointing out the problems now and showing a new way.
