현대그리스어 정형동사의 문법상 지도 연구

본 논문은 현대 그리스어의 문법상에 속하는 전체상과 부분상을 대상으로 학습자들이 문법상의 형태를 인지하고 그 의미를 연결 지어 동사활용에 적용할 수 있도록 지도하는 과정에 대한 설명을 시도 하였다. 현대 그리스어의 문법상은 동사 어근의 형태로 완전한 대칭을 보이는 전체상과 부분상의 두 상이 주를 이루며 이는 객관적 공식이 아닌 주관성을 띈다. 많은 외국어로서의 그리스어 습득 연구에서 드러나듯이 대부분의 학습자들은 상당히 고급수준에 도달하더라도 전체상과 부분상의 구분에서 어려움을 드러내고 있다. 이는 문법상이 동사 체계에서 가지는 중요성에 비해 학습과정에서는 이를 정확히 지도하지 않고 개별 시제를 단계적으로 소개하면서 상적 속성에 대한 이해가 부족하거나, 동사의 전체적인 시스템을 한 눈에 보고 의미와 형태를 연결할 인지적 입력이 부재하기 때문이라고 볼 수 있다. 그리스어의 문법상을 도식화 해 보면 어근의 형태에 따라 전체상은 과거형 어근을 사용하고 부분상은 현재형 어근을 사용하는 구분을 확실히 인지할 수 있다. 과거형 어근은 사건을 하나의 덩어리로 보는 시각을 의미하고, 현재형 어근은 사건의 내부적으로 들어가 지속, 습관(반복)을 의미한다. 학습자들은 도식화 된 이미지를 통해 시각적으로 현대 그리스어의 상적속성을 이해하고 각 어근의 형태변화가 가지는 의미 차이를 인지해 나가는 과정을 거쳐 전체상, 부분상 쌍으로 이루어진 예문을 통해 의미의 추론을 통한 학습을 진행 할 수 있다. 문법상의 범주화가 가장 선행되어야 하는 주요 학습 목표라면, 학습자가 문법상을 어느 정도 범주화 한 단계에 이르면 객관적 상적 정보를 가진 어휘상과의 상호작용을 제시하고 우세한 결합과 그 의미를 제시할 수 있다. 이러한 과정을 통해 현대 그리스어의 시상체계에 대한 효과적 학습 결과를 기대할 수 있다.
Abstract
The following research is about providing some instruction on grammatical aspects of Modern Greek (MG) finite verbs in L2 context. MG is a language with a rich morphological system. In particular, the grammatical aspect and its categories are one of the most difficult areas to master in MG, and many students make errors when they use them, even when they reach an advanced level. The article presents some explanations to give some instruction on the morphology and semantic characters of perfective and imperfective aspects with the cognitive schema of grammatical aspects; a diagram of the tense-aspect system of MG, based on grammatical aspects; and an interaction between grammatical and lexical aspects. Furthermore, it provides the dominant combinations of grammatical and lexical aspects. Through the learning activities, it would helpful to learners to gradually categorize the two grammatical aspects of MG.
