Abstract

This paper is written for the purpose of suggesting some alternatives to readjust the existing absurd administration districts by analyzing the landforms of Nakdong River Basin' divide. I' like to provide policy-makers and other researchers with some showcases based on the landforms, in case that we need to readjust or unify the existing administration districts in order to build up larger administration districts. The borderlines of Nakdong River Basin are 34°55′ ~ 37°15′ N, 127°25′ ~ 129°25′ E. and look like long line including the Sobaik mountains from East Sea to South Sea. Indoor survey use of map(1:50,000) with Nakdong River Basin' divide and a field survey. I'm of the opinion that administration districs readjustment should be based on landforms especially divided by drainage network. That's because basically basins have not only definite their boardlands, but also have significant effects on regional homogeneity and good accessibility.
