초록
This research is based on the project based dance lecture that I have been teaching at the Soo-Suh middle school with second year students as a school art instructor for two years. Since 5 years ago, our dance education has been establishing itself successfully as a general citizen's cultural education in public education, which also has fortunately been in line with the global trend of commonization of cultural art education. And due to the fact that the goal of current middle school dance education run by the Institution of school art instructors is the understanding of history and culture through dance, the direction and level of dance experience has been set up based upon the dance education as culture education. Accordingly, the purpose of this research is to make a general suggestion about the so-called project teaching tools ranging from designing the class based on project teaching method to eliciting creative and self-induced project outcomes and to making a overall class managing plan. In a nutshell, what is important in project based teaching is that teachers should make an unusual effort to ensure that there is no mismanagement in class schedule. This is possible only because teachers are well prepared with a good sense of how much students are prepared for the class and help them to study on their own. In addition, another the key point is that among other things, teacher and students both should know their roles and are ready to participate in a interactivity needed for any class enhancement. As a matter of fact, this study was originally planned to look into results from the first year student, but due to the lack of participation and preparedness on the part of students, it switched the focus to second year students.
