교육대학 예비교사들의 무용 지도력 향상에 관한 인식 및 요구

Abstract

This study is to analyze the perception and need about improvement of dance teaching ability in students of national university of education. 45% of participants had no experience a dance. Moreover in case of 58% of the students who learned a dance in primary or secondary school, their activity was focused on following steps After for 15 weeks classes which were based on creative dance and folk dance, participants perceived educational values of dance with positive concern(29%) a favorable attitude(51%). One of the best outcomes of the class is understanding about dance as a useful activity in primary school(48%) as well as transition of affirmative perception toward dance(29%). Meanwhile, a full acquisition of subject contents and exploration of the effective teaching method of survey item is low percent(10%). Also, insufficiency of self-confidence(44%), difficulty of movement performance(31%) were main problems that students come into conflicts. To be improved this current situation, participants need to hold importance of dance activity, develop teachable dance programme, offer opportunity of the study about teaching methode, expand work experience in school field. In addition, they perceived necessity of exposure a variety of technique like yoga, Jazz for enhance movement performance(49%), content and teaching methode of creative dance(40%)According to the results, the enough time to learn and applicate expressive activity in elementary education level is required. For this, extension of course study more than one semester, open a class which study effective dance teaching and learning, elective courses and workshops which can improve movement is needed. Establishment of a intensified process at graduate school of education level can be one measure to solution.
