외국인 이동 스포츠관광의 특징과 방향에 관한 연구 -서울-부산 자전거관광을 중심으로-

본 연구는 자전거를 활용한 이동 스포츠관광을 이해하기 위한 목적에서 자전거 이동 스포츠관광의 개념정립과 한국의 자전거길 분포 현황을 포함하여 외국인 서울-부산 자전거관광의 특징과 방향성을 모색하였다. 본 연구의대상이 된 서울-부산 간 이동 스포츠관광은 다른 교통편에 의존하지 않고 출발지부터 자전거를 스포츠활동이자 이동수단으로 활용하는 적극적인 참여스포츠관광 형태이다. 서울-부산 자전거관광은 한강종주자전거길(서울구간)과 남한강자전거길, 새재자전거길 및 낙동강자전거길의 약 640km로 구성되었고, 외국인에게 한국의 구석구석을 알리기 위한 상품이면서 미지의 세계 혹은 자연을 즐기면서 도전정신을 함양하는 시각에서 스포츠와 관광을 동시에 충족할 목적으로 진행되었다. 연구를 통해 외국인을 위한 이동 스포츠관광 상품 확대와 다양화를 위한 방향성을 제시하였다.
Abstract
This study began with the aim of understanding moving sports tourism using bicycles. The purpose of this study was to describe the characteristics and directions of the foreign bicycle tours from Seoul to Busan, including the understanding of the concept of moving sports tourism using bicycles and the distribution of bike paths in Korea. The moving sports tourism subject to this study is a type of active participatory sports tourism that uses bicycles as a sporting activity and a means of transportation from the starting point without relying on other transportation. The tour was consisted of about 640km from the Hangang River bike path(Seoul section), Namhangang bike path, Saejae bike path, and Nakdonggang bike path, and was conducted to promote Korea to foreigners and to satisfy both sport and tourism in terms of cultivating a spirit of challenge while enjoying the unknown world or nature. Especially, the study proposed several directions for the expansion and diversification of moving sports tourism products for foreigners.
