초록
The purpose of this study is to analyze the trends in Embodied Cognition re-search and its applications in dance education. Through a systematic literature review, the study examines both domestic and international academic landscapes to identify practical tasks that can be applied to dance education. The results re- veal that Embodied Cognition research in South Korea is still in its early stages, predominantly focused on literature reviews with limited experimental studies. This study underscores the importance of applying Embodied Cognition theories in dance education to enhance students' physical, emotional, and cognitive de- velopment. The findings suggest that dance education, by integrating body-based learning processes, can serve as an effective strategy for holistic student devel- opment. The study concludes by advocating for more experimental research to verify the effectiveness of Embodied Cognition approaches in diverse educational settings, particularly in post-COVID-19 educational environments. This research highlights the need for an educational framework that embraces both physical and cognitive learning to better prepare students for the challenges of the future.
