초록

Bodinality, Personality, and Communality presuppose the uniqueness and vari-ability of human beings as bodily entities. This paper explores each concept and their interrelationships. First, Bodinality refers to the body's dynamic tendencies, shaping individual uniqueness through movement-based practices and problem-solving strategies. It manifests as a unique survival strategy, characterized by an inclination to move, a propensity to solve problems through movement, and vitality derived from geneti- cally inherited knowledge and relational experiences. Second, emergence (ch'angbal) through the body is facilitated by physical ac- complishments, signifying that Bodinality entails autonomy and control within one's life. Third, autonomy and control are cultivated through “practice”(習), which re- fers to habituation or practice. Through “practice”(習), individuals can develop their unique Bodinality, highlighting the importance of establishing robust habit- ual practices. Fourth, Personality emerges as a consistent and persistent attribute through the expression of Bodinality, distinguishing an individual as a unique entity. Fifth, Communality, conceptualized as an extended self, is the collective con- sciousness or social personality shared among community members, thereby shap- ing community identity. Sixth, Bodinality forms the foundation of Personality, which in turn underpins Communality. Thus, Bodinality, Personality, and Communality represent layers of human uniqueness and variability, offering profound insights into human existence and cultural dynamics.
