초등학교 도덕과 교육과정 해석 및 집필 세목 구상에 관한 동양윤리적 제언 — 5학년 ‘최선을 다하는 생활’을 중심으로 —

Abstract

This study is aimed to draw out a basic suggestion for such principle question of elementary school moral textbook as 'What should elementary school moral textbook contain and teach, and how should it be?' in oriental ethic viewpoint that may not be strong enough yet at the moment when elementary school textbooks are developed based on '2007 Education Process'. For this goal, this study suggests several opinions about such current issues as 'identity establishment of moral education', 'emphasis on new moral values and dispute points that meet social change', 'enhancement of moral investigation', 'spotlighting on school and class based characters of moral education' and etc in the aspect of development of 'recommendable books for curriculums', and shows some examples for translation of education process and planning of books' contents tables regarding 'Life with Your Best' of the 5th graders based on such opinions. It may be evaluated that the issues mentioned as current social opinions in this study have no drawn out perfect and systematical methodologies or alternative measures needed for some achievement considering their final goals and purposes. It is, however, necessary to keep making effort to blow positive meaning into the rapidly changing contemporary society by understanding the traditional moral education itself correctly and systematizing it. Such effort, furthermore, seems to have somewhat clear meaning. For such effort is a starting point of the sense of responsibility that must be with the intellectuals who direct and study moral education right in this society. A number of ethic doctrines may be all coming into 'Korean Moral' in which we work toward moral life, which is also an issue of identity for 'Our Moral Textbook' in such reflection aspect as 'How is our moral in this era?'.
