현상적 청자를 설정한 사설시조의 유형과 그 존재양상

사설시조의 발화는 화자가 청자에 대한 태도와 목소리에 의해서 구별되는 진술의 방법, 어조 등으로 존재하며 그 방법들은 청자를 반응시켜 심리적 거리를 조정한다. 문학이 인간의 정신세계를 표현하는 예술의 한 형태라고 할 때, 사설시조의 창작과 향유도 그 예외는 아니라고 할 수 있다. 현상적 청자를 설정한 사설시조에 나타난 인간의 정신세계는 시적 대상물에 등장한 화자가 추구하는 의식에 따라 관념인식의 화자, 현실경험의 화자, 유희지향의 화자 등의 3가지로 나눌 수 있다. 사설시조에 설정한 현상적 청자가 같은 부류의 사람이면 화자의 생각을 청자에게 권유하거나 부탁을 하는 경우가 흔하고, 현상적 청자가 손아래 사람이면 화자의 생각을 청자에게 명령하거나 지시하는 경향이 강하다. 이처럼 화자는 현상적 청자의 신분과 위치에 따라 자신의 생각을 다양하게 표현한다고 할 수 있다. 현상적 청자를 설정한 관념인식의 화자는 사설시조에 등장한 시적 화자가 작품세계에 표현한 문제를 선행된 관념이나 사상을 이해하고 적용함으로써 해결될 것이라고 생각한다. 이 유형의 화자는 유교의 교훈이나 종교의 사상을 인지함으로 인해 작품에 제기한 문제가 해결될 것이라고 여긴다. 현상적 청자를 설정한 현실경험의 화자는 사설시조에 등장한 시적 화자가 작품세계에 제기한 문제를 현실의 경험이나 생활의 체험을 사실성과 주체성의 미학으로 표현함으로써 해결될 것이라고 생각한다. 이 유형의 화자는 살아가는 삶의 생생한 표현, 이별한 임을 생각하는 마음 등을 사실적으로 표현하여 화자가 제기한 문제를 해결하고 있다. 현상적 청자를 설정한 유희지향의 화자는 시적 대상물인 사설시조의 작품세계를 쾌락을 바탕으로 흥미와 재미로 표현하여 작품의 연행현장을 중요하게 생각하는 경우를 의미한다. 이 유형의 화자는 청자에게 놀이의 현장을 전달하면서 즐거움을 추구하는 모습을 청자에게 진술하여 상황을 긴장시키면서 재미있는 대중성의 담론을 추구하고 있다. 인간의 정신세계는 한 개인이 추구하는 방향에 따라 유희지향, 관념인식, 현실경험 등의 의식을 함께 지니고 있다. 이러한 분류는 한 개인이 지닐 수 있는 정신현상의 지향점에 의해 분류한 것이다. 이를 바탕으로 현상적 청자를 설정한 사설시조에 나타난 화자의 의식세계를 분석하였을 때 조선후기 대중예술을 향유하는 양반사대부와 전문가객의 의식을 함께 반영하고 있다고 할 수 있다.
Abstract
This thesis has examined audience response toward a diversified attitude by the poet who versed to the world and readers in parallel with psychological distance among the audience namely phenomenal auditors, implicative auditors and actual readers centered on the poems by Sijo. Sijo literature is our ethnic only poem literature that it is loved our people and become a creation yet in long period. Particularly the common people who opposed social contradiction and absurdity in Chosun is reflected in Saseol-sijo, but the study of the poetic speaker is rare. This study is written to identify the relations of the persona of appearing speaker in Saseol-sijo. The persona of appearing speaker in Saseol-sijo is can be divided into three type. Three type are the persona of the idealist, the persona of realist, and the persona of comedian in Saseol-sijo. The persona of the idealist attempted to see the persona of description and manifestation of the recognition of ideality in Sasul-sijo. The persona of realist attempted to see the persona of description and manifestation of the experience of reality in Sasul-sijo. And the persona of comedian in Saseol-sijo attempted to see the persona of description and manifestation of the recognition of the enjoy and pleasure in Sasul-sijo. The persona in Sasul-sijo decides on a tone of a work, an atmosphere, a sense of beauty and the subject but it is a component of a poem taking charge of important role. In this context, such an endless re-reading requirement connotes to be able to seise an emotional and logical aspect of poetic implication in this particular regard. Therefore, more studies which is not identified in this thesis are needed in the future.
