초록

우리 전통 수학과 관련한 수학사를 소개하고 관련된 수학적 소재를 현대수학으로 재해석하는 것은 우리 전통 수학의 문화적 가치를 찾을 수 있는 좋은 도구가 될 수 있다. 2009 개정 수학과 교육과정에 기반하여 개발된 중학교 교과서의 수학사 활용 실태 분석을 통하여 수학사를 활용한 구체적이고 실질적인 교수・학습 자료 개발에 대한 연구의 필요성을 제시하였다. 더불어 본고에서는 이상혁(李尙爀)의 산술관견(算術管見)의 첫 번째 주제인 각등변형습유(各等邊形拾遺)에서 다루어지고 있는 2가지 주제를 현행 교육과정에 기반하여 재해석하고 원문에서 정십각형까지 제시된 내용을 수학 학습 소프트웨어의 일종인 GeoGebra를 활용하여 정$n$각형의 상황까지 확인할 수 있도록 재구성하였다. 또한 그 과정이 중・고등학교 심화학습이나 중등 영재수업에서 적용될 수 있도록 교육과정에 근거하여 구성하였다.

Abstract

To introduce materials related to our traditional mathematics and to reinterpret modernly them could be a good tool to find the cultural values of them. We analyzed the degree for utilization of the history of mathematics in the middle school textbooks developed depending on the 2009 revised mathematics curriculum. Thro\-ugh this, we suggest the need for research on concrete and practical teaching and learning materials development utilizing the history of mathematics. We reinterpret, in modern style based on the curriculum, two subjects dealt with in `GakDeungByeonHyeongSeupYu', the first theme of `SanSulGwan\-Gyeon' written by Lee Sang Hyuk. We expansively reconstruct the original samples up to regular decagon so that students might figure out the situation of all regular polygon using a kind of mathematics software GeoGebra. Also this process is constructed on the basis of the curriculum for an implementation the secondary school classes.
