이 학제적 연구는 괴델의 수학적 극대성에 대한 해석을 중심으로 괴델의 존재론을 다룬다. 이를 위하여먼저 괴델의 존재론적 증명 (1970) 에 나타난 극대 긍정성으로서의 극대 필터를 고찰하고, 다음으로선택 공리와 관련하여 극대 대상의 존재론적 의미를 논의한다. 연구의 결과에 의하면 괴델의 논증은수학적 세계 내에서의 극대적 실재의 존재성을 함의한다.
Abstract
The interdisciplinary study addresses the Gödel’s ontology from the perspective ofthe mathematical maximality. We first investigate Gödel’s God having all the positiveproperties as the intersection of ultrafilters in his own ontological proof(1970). Regarding the axiom of choice and his compactness theorem(1930), the next partdiscusses the ontological meaning of the maximal rather than the maximum interms of an episteme space. The results show that Gödel’s ontological argumentsimply all the existence of the maximal reality, and all the human’s epistemologicalboundedness as well.
