Abstract

This study employed the descriptive study and the logical analysis method as the cultural sociological theories as the basis. Taekwondo, one of martial-arts sports items, has already developed with rapidity in China, and its market value has risen. But if Taekwondo is to spread throughout China, it still requires lots of time and methods. It the public are to be induced to have an accurate understanding of Taekwondo and accept it, support and interest at the level of Chinese government are of great importance. The development of Taekwondo business is promising and corresponds to the characteristic of the development of contemporary competitive sports. The number of persons trained in Taekwondo is increasing but not enough in the use and satisfaction of those resources. Chinese have won the first place and produced many good athletes in many international competitions but should benchmark this system of Korea as Mun Dae-seong, Korean IOC committeeman, has become the worldwide representative figure of Taekwondo. The current Chinese business Taekwondo games have been organized to an extent comparable to the Korean counterpart but its operating structure and system requires the interest and cooperation of government, associations and local government at the level of Chinese national policy. All kinds of sports can develop only when their professional teams or business teams are activated. Therefore, it can be said that the development and efforts of the Chinese business Taekwondo team are the most important task for Chinese Taekwondo to develop into the world-class martial-arts sport.
