해동검도(海東劍道)의 무도적 인식

본 연구는 현대사회에서 바라보는 해동검도에 대해 그것이 지닌 기능과 가치를 토대로 새로운 인식과제를 논의한 것이다. 특히 국내에서 갈등을 겪고 있는 해동검도의 두 단체인 대한해동검도협회와 한국해동검도협회를 중심으로 재판기록과 법정자료를 중심으로 해동검도의 발전과정을 살펴보았다. 해동검도의 개념에 대한 역사적, 사상적, 문화적 연구는 앞으로 더욱 진행되어야 할 주제이지만, 이들 간의 우위나 타당성 등에 관한 자기 주장류의 연구는 지양되어야 할 것이다. 개념의 타당성에 대한 낭비적 논쟁보다는 해동검도의 정체성에 대한 빈 공간을 채울 수 있는 역사 연구, 비교 문화적 연구, 새롭게 변해 가는 사회 요구에 대한 연구 등이 앞으로 우리 무도사에서 필요한 생산적이고 발전적인 노력이 될 것이다. 이상에서 살펴본 바에 의하면, 국제사회에서 세계 무도인들이 해동검도를 수련할 수 있는 프로그램 개발과 더불어 대한해동검도협회가 1982년 이후 20년 이상 운영하고 있다는 점과 이 단체에 대한 분파된 단체(안티단체), 그리고 여러 군소 해동검도 단체들의 분파는 발전을 저해하는 요인이 될 수 있다. 따라서, 해동검도는 단체의 투명성, 객관성, 공정성의 노력이 필요하며, 한국문화를 바탕으로 하는 시스템이 필요하다. 또한, 해동검도가 국제적으로 인식되기 위한 프로그램 개발이 필요하다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the value of Haedong-Gumdo. To achieve the purpose, Haedong-gumdo's historical actives has checked. This study is examined 2 Haedong-gumdo Goups(KHGA, KHKA)of history about origin, trial data based to analyze the value Haedong-gumdo. The Haedong-Gumdo appeared on modern society as an important factor of martial-arts activities. In this paper I attempted the Recongnition of Haedong-Gumdo for further Development in Martial Arts. It has focused on diagnosing the present condition and problems of Haedong-Gumdo, and finding a realistic alternative related to attraction of practice in the Korean martial arts society. The Korea Haedong-Gumdo Association(KHGA, 대한해동검도협회) has been operated for 20 years since its first operation in 1982, but there continues a tense atmosphere between anti Haedon-Gumdo social groups and the local Haedong-Gumdo groups because of their intense opposition to attraction of a obstruct the development. As the result of the both sides' extremely different positions, such a conflict is spreading even between Haedong-Gumdo persons. Therefore, the Association's efforts for their agreement require transparency, objectivity, fairness, and the like. The Haedong-Gumdo is a pride of martial people in korea. Also on the point that Haedong-Gumdo was burn based on korea culture, there will be its bright future obviously. For this, programs for Haedong-Gumdo should absolutely receive various korea culture and develop programs who can give common martial arts society to world people taking into accounting of the international recognition.
