본 연구에서는 무도전공대학생들을 대상으로 운동스트레스와 학교생활적응의 관계에서 내적통제성의 완충효과를 규명하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 수도권 일대에 위치하고 있는 체육 대학교 무도학과 학생들 272명으로 하였으며, 측정도구는 운동스트레스 척도, 학교생활적응 척도, 내외통제성 척도를 사용하였다. 첫째, 상관분석 결과 무도전공대학생들의 운동스트레스와 학교생활적응은 부적관계가 있는 것으로, 내외통제성과 학교생활적응은 정적상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 중다회귀분석결과 운동스트레스는 학교생활적응에 영향을 미쳐 운동스트레스가 높을수록 학교생활적응이 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 내적통제성은 학교생활적응에 영향을 미쳐 내적통제성이 높을수록 학교생활적응의 수준이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 위계적 회귀분석 결과 대학무도전공자들의 운동스트레스와 학교생활적응의 관계에서 내적통제성의 완충효과가 유의하여, 내적통제성의 정도에 따라 학교생활적응에 미치는 영향이 다르게 작용함을 보여주었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the moderating effects of the internal control on the relationships between athletic stress and school related adjustment to the department of martial arts of university students. The subject were 272students of martial arts university in the metropolitan area. The results showed as follows; First, the correlation analysis showed the athletic stress and the internal control to the department of martial arts of university students was affected less the school related adjustment, whereas the internal control affected the school related adjustment more. Second, regression analysis showed athletic stress in students were significantly related to school related adjustment. Third, the internal control was significantly related to school related adjustment and as the level of internal control was increased the school related adjustment was increased. Furthermore, hierarchical regression analysis showed the internal control had a moderating effects on athletic stress and school related adjustment. Consequently this study showed that when athletic stress is found to cause school related adjustment in school life, a level of internal control in the students psychological make-up can increase school related adjustment.
