이 연구는 모더니즘 관점에서 본 음악의 특성을 알아보고, 이러한 음악을 고등학생을 대상으로 어떻게 지도하여야할 지 그 방법을 모색하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이러한 목적을 가지고 이 연구는 우선적으로 문헌을 통하여 모더니즘 및 음악적 모더니즘의 개념 그리고 모더니즘에 기초한 사조별 음악적 특징에 대하여 조사를 하였다. 사조별 음악의 조사 대상으로는 대표적인 음악 사조인 인상주의, 표현주의, 원시주의에 바탕을 둔 음악을 선정하였다. 그 다음은 효과적인 감상 지도를 위하여 적합한 지도 방법적 모형을 제시하고, 이를 바탕으로 스트라빈스키의 <봄의 제전>을 본보기로 단계별 지도 방안을 모색하였다. 단계별 지도 방안에서는 사회적·문화적 맥락 그리고 타 예술간 혹은 타 교과간의 연계성을 고려함으로써 2007 개정 음악과 교육과정에 적합한 학습 활동이 이루어질 수 있도록 하였다.
Abstract
The purposes of this study are to examine the characteristics of music from modernism perspective and to search for how to teach this music to the students in high school. For these purposes, this study reviewed the concepts of modernism and musical modernism and the musical characteristics of the trend based on modernism through literature review first. The music selected to be reviewed in this study included the music based on impressionism, expressionism, and primitivism which are representative of music trend. For the next, this study presented a teaching model appropriate for the instruction of efficient listening and searched for stepwise instructional methods with the example of <Le sacre du printemps> by Stravinsky based on the model. By considering the social/cultural contexts and association with other arts in the stepwise instructional methods, this study aimed to provide the learning process adequatefor 2007 revised music and education curriculum.
