초록

본 연구는 은유적 내러티브를 활용한 초등 가창 지도 방안을 모색하는 데 목표를 두고 이루어졌다. 이를 위 하여 우선 은유적 내러티브의 개념을 고찰한 후 음악과 은유적 내러티브의 관계를 살펴보았으며, 가창교육에 서 은유적 내러티브의 가치를 고찰하였다. 이어 가창 지도를 위한 은유적 내러티브의 구성 및 지도의 단계를 설정하고, 이를 바탕으로 가창 지도안을 개발하여 실제 수업을 통해 적용 가능성을 살폈다. 본 연구를 통하여 은유적 내러티브가 가창 지도를 위한 흥미로운 텍스트로서의 가치를 지닐 뿐 아니라 학생들의 음악적 사고 과 정에 의미를 부여하고 노래에 대한 새로운 시각을 갖게 하는 데 도움을 준다는 것을 확인하였다. 특히 내러티 브가 교사에 의해 일방적으로 제시되는 텍스트가 아닌 학생들과의 소통을 통하여 수정될 수 있는 과정 중심적 인 지도 방법으로서 이해될 때, 학생들의 음악적 표현력을 향상시키고 음악 경험이 깊어지도록 돕는 교육적 가 치를 지닐 수 있음을 확인하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explore new teaching methods using the metaphorical narrative for teaching singing in elementary school. To this end, first, this research reviewed the concept of the metaphorical narrative and the relationship between music and the metaphorical narrative. Second, the values of the metaphorical narrative in teaching singing were examined. Subsequently, the stages of designing and teaching the metaphorical narrative for singing were established. Finally, according to the stages, teaching plans for singing were made up of the metaphorical narrative and the actual singing lessons were carried out. This study showed that the metaphorical narrative has not only val- ue as an interesting text, but also stimulates the students' musical thinking process and gives them a new perspective on music. In addition, only when the metaphorical narrative is understood as an process-centered teaching method, that can be revised and supplemented through communication with students, rather than a text presented unilaterally by a teacher, it can have the educational value to help the development of students’ expressiveness in singing and deepen their musical experience.
