본 연구의 목적은 무용수들이 인지하는 예술적 역량을 분석하고자 하였으며, 무용수 197명을 대상으 로 전공(한국무용, 발레, 현대무용)과 경력(저:6년 이하/고:6년 이상)에 따른 예술적 역량의 두 가지 하위 요인인 문화 예술 공통 역량과 예술적 역량을 살펴보았으며, 분석결과 전공에 따른 차이는 나타나지 않았으나, 경력에 따른 차이는 나타났으며 예술적 역량 요인이 무용수의 무용경력에 따른 수준을 판별 하는데 중요한 요인이라는 사실을 보여주었다. 무용수의 무용수행에 있어서 창의력을 요구하는 심리적 측면은 신체의 테크닉과 함께 무용 예술작품 형성에 필수적이며 좋은 무용작품을 만들기 위해서는 무용 수의 심리 인지에서 기초하는 것은 중요하다. 이에, 무용수를 위한 예술적 역량 연구를 위해서는 다양한 심리변인의 관계성 연구를 통해 예술적 역량에 관한 심층적 분석 연구가 요망되는 바이다.
Abstract
The purpose of the study was to analyze the artistic competencies profile in female dancers. It was hypothesized that there would be significant differences in artistic competencies as functions of dancer career(low: 6 years downward/ high: 6 years up) and dance major(Korean, Ballet, Modern). One hundred ninety seven female dancers majoring in Korean, Ballet, Modern dance completed the Profile of artistic competencies scale(ACS). The ACS included two artistic competencies: culture art common competencies, artistic competencies. The results of multivariate statistical procedures exhibited that there were no significant differences in ACS among Korean, Ballet, and Modern dancers. High career dancers reported more positive ACS than low career dancers. These results were discussed with various psycho-social perspectives and interpreted based on the assumption that the excessive physical activities might play a central role in mental health. This work was based on the previous studies related to artistic competencies.
