직업발레무용수의 전문성 향상을 위한 대학의 발레교육 발전방안

본 연구의 목적은 국내 직업발레무용수를 대상으로 이들의 전문성에 대한 인식을 심층적으로 탐색하고, 직업발레무용수의 전문성 향상을 위한 대학 발레교육의 구체적 방안을 모색하는 데에 있다. 연구 참여자는 심층 면담을 위한 10명의 발레전문가와 개방형 설문조사를 위한 106명의 남녀 직업발레무용들이었다. 자료는 귀납적 내용을 통해 분석되었다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 직업발레단에서의 전문성 발달은 기능적, 예술적 및 심성적 요소가 요구된다. 둘째, 국내 직업발레무용수의 전문성 향상을 위해서는 대학에서부터 개별화 교육, 교사의 전문화, 교육의 다양성, 진로교육 등의 측면에서 개선되어야 한다. 셋째, 직업발레무용수의 전문성을 향상시키기 위해서는 대학 무용학과의 교육과정 특성화, 직업발레단과의 네트워크 형성이 이루어져야 한다. 따라서 이들 결과는 국내 직업발레무용수의 전문성을 향상시키기 위해서는 무용수 스스로 자신의 전문성을 높이기 위한 부단한 노력도 요구되지만 대학 무용교육에서 직업무용수로서의 철저한 개별화 교육과 진로교육이 선행되어야 함을 시사한다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to recognize and acquire the elements of expertise required in a professional ballet dancer, while identifying the instructing methods of a university ballet education, in order to plan specifically for enhancing expertise a professional ballet dancer. For this, 10 ballet experts for interview in depth and 106 professional ballet dancers for an open-ended questionnaire were participated. Data were conducted through deductive content analysis. The results of this study were follows as: First, the expertise in professional ballet company requires functional, artistic, and characteristic development to ballet dancers. Second, It is needed that the aspects of individualized education, instructors’expertise, the diversity of education, and occupational education should be renovated for enhancing the expertise of professional ballet dancers. Third, specializing the curriculum in university dance education and establishing a network with professional ballet company are needed for facilitating the expertise of professional ballet dancers. These findings imply that professional ballet dancers try to enhance their expertise continually, but also an individualized and occupational education in university settings should be executed for students who plans to enter a ballet company.
