무용교육자의 전문성은 많은 사람들의 관심을 가지고 일반적으로 사용되고 있는 용어임에도 불구하고, 그 구체적 개념에 대하여 심도 있는 고찰이나 무용교육계에서의공통된 함의가 충분히 이루어지고 있지 않은 상태이다. 더욱이 무용교육에서 요구되는 전문성이 실제 교육현장에서 예비 교육자들을 위한 전문성 계발의 측면과 교육과정 개발을 위해 많은 교육자들의 연수과정에서 활용되어질 수 있게 하기 위해서는 무용교육자의 전문성에 대한 구성요소들을 다양한 관점에서 해석하고, 체계화된 구조로 제안해 볼 필요가 있겠다. 따라서 이 연구는 무용교육자들의 전문성은 교사 전문성에 대한 보편적인 관점과는 달리, 무용의 특수한 맥락을 고려하여, 무용교육자의 전문성 구성 요인을 살펴보고자 하였다. 무용교육자들의 합의된 내용들을 토대로 무용교육자의 전문성 개념을 제안하고, 구성요소들을 귀납적으로 도출하여, 이를 측정, 평가할 수 있는 체계화된 문항 구조를 제안하고자 하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this research was to test the reliability and validity of professionalism of dance educators. Dance educators' pedagogical content knowledge in dance were four structuring factors including dance knowledge, scientific knowledge, educational knowledge and humanities knowledge with 8 items. Dance educators' teaching method were four structuring factors including teaching system, communicability, understanding context and knowledge basis with 9 items. Dance educators' artistic literacy were three structuring factors including dance composition, expressiveness and meaning and interpretation with 7items. Dance educators' personality were three structuring factors including educational belief, mentoring and relationship with 7 items.
