2022 개정 연극영화 교육과정 연구: 영화 교과를 중심으로

Abstract

This study analyzes the evolution of the film curriculum since the 7th National Curriculum and specifically examines the characteristics of the film curriculum in the 2022 revised curriculum, focus ing on its transition from a specialized subject to a general subject, changes in its name and estab lishment, and its connections with specialized subjects. Firstly, the theater and film curriculum has undergone changes in nomenclature and organization due to revisions by the Ministry of Education. In the 2022 revised curriculum, it was renamed as the Arts Elective Curriculum, expanding students' choices. This allows students to select from a variety of subjects according to their career paths and aptitudes, enabling deeper learning. Secondly, the film curriculum is divided into integrated elective subjects such as Film and Life, and career elective subjects like Understanding Film, Cinematography and Lighting, Editing and Sound, Film Production Practice, and Film Appreciation and Criticism. Notably, Film and Life focuses on ev eryday life and career, encouraging students to explore various themes through film and develop practical problem-solving skills. Thirdly, the 2022 Revised Curriculum for Culture, Arts, Design, and Broadcasting Specialized Subjects is designed for specialized high schools and is closely related to film education, offering a strong connection with the film curriculum. This enables students to acquire the technical skills need ed for film production and apply them in real-world settings. It is hoped that this paper will spark further research that contributes to the development of the theater and film curriculum.
