2022 개정 국어과 교육과정의 <문학과 영상> 과목에 대한 검토와 구체화를 위한 과제 탐색*

Abstract

This article examines the appropriateness of <Literature and Film>, a new subject in the 2022 revised Korean Language and Literature curriculum, and explores the challenges of designing textbooks, instructional content, and methods. The results of the review of the curriculum for <Literature and Film> are as follows. The ‘nature’ of the course focused on external factors instead of focusing on the intrinsic affinity and educational practicality of the two areas as the basis for setting an integrated course, and the ‘objectives’ and ‘content system’ were not aligned. The ‘achievement standards’ are centered on film rather than literature, and there is a lack of organic connection with other subjects. The ‘teaching, learning, and assessment’ was repetitive and lacking in specificity. To explore the challenges of designing <Literature and Film> texts and classroom activities to address these curricular shortcomings, we looked at the BFI's education program in the UK and curriculum examples for <Media Arts> subjects in Australia. Based on the findings, we have drawn implications and made some suggestions for the development of textbooks and classroom activities.
