본 연구에서는 학교 내에서의 갈등해결의 방법론적인 모델로 또래조정을 제안하고그 도입을 위한 이론적인 연구를 진행하였다. 갈등은 부정적인 것이 아닌 자연스러운것이라는 발상의 전환을 제안하고자 한다. 가정을 떠나 처음으로 속하는 사회인 학교에서의 갈등의 실태와 양상을 살펴보았고 갈등으로 고민할 때 의논하는 상대로 또래친구를 생각하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 갈등해결을 위한 대안적 접근에 대해 알아보고 대체적 분쟁해결 중에서 조정이 학교 내 갈등을 해결하는데 주요한 방안이라고생각한다. 하지만 일반적인 조정은 학교 내에서 운용하기 어렵고 사법적 처리모델이므로 창조적으로 수정된 조정모델이 요구되었다. 사법적 해결이 아니라 교육적이면서 갈등해결로서의 또래조정을 이론과 다양한 모델로서 살펴보았고 장기적이고 안정적으로발전하기 위한 제안을 하였다.
Abstract
This Study is aimed to introduce peer mediation program as a way of conflict resolution in School. The purpose of this study is to explore on the effective support for resolution of dispute and conflict due to school violence. However, there was a lack of research for deep investigation and analysis on conflict of school violence until now. there was insufficient the research on rational and multi-dimensional support and practical effort for dispute resolution, too. Thus, the study discuss that the result make a new understanding on conflict and dispute of school violence and is to be proposed the effective support for dispute resolution in dispute of school violence based on the existing conflict theory. Further studies about specific programs or effects are expected, especially in School because it is the core of citizenship education.
