초록

본 연구는 4, 5세 유아의 지능과 그리기표상능력간의 관계를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 4세 33명과 5세 35명, 총 68명으로 이들의 간편형 지능을 측정하였고, 직선 및 곡선으로 이루어진 입체 집 모형과 집 사진을 보여주고 보이는 데로 그리게 한 후 세부묘사 평가표를 근거로 이들의 그림들을 분석하였다. 본 연구결과는 첫째, 유아의 전체지능 및 동작성 지능과 그리기표상능력은 정적 상관을 보였다지만 언어성 지능은 관련이 없었다. 지능하위요인을 살펴보면, 4세는 토막짜기와, 5세는 모양 맞추기와 그리기표상능력이 정적상관을 보였다. 둘째, 유아의 그리기표상능력에 미치는 영향력을 분석한 결과, 전체 지능 및 동작성 지능이 예측변인으로 밝혀졌다. 지능하위요인을 분석한 결과는 토막짜기가 그리기표상능력에 영향을 미치는 예측변인으로 밝혀졌다. 이러한 본 연구의 결과는 유아의 그리기 표상능력이 지능, 특히 동작성 지능과 밀접한 관련이 있음을 시사한다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship intelligence and drawing representational ability from 4 to 5 ages. The subjects were 68 young children(33 four-year-olds and 35 five-year-olds) from a daycare center in Busan, Korea. Each child was asked to draw the house which they see, the two-dimensional and three-dimensional models of house with straight or curves lines, and also tested by a short form of K-WPPSI. Each drawing was scored based on 'rating table of detail descriptions'. Results of this study as follows; There was significantly positive relationship between performance intelligence & geometric intelligence and drawing representational ability but wasn't relationship between verbal intelligence and drawing representational ability. The results of this study suggest that performance intelligence, especially geometric intelligence is the predict variables to have influence on drawing representational ability of young children.
