Abstract
This study aimed to examine the dual mediating effects of peer support and teacher support on the relationship between smartphone addiction and school adaptation among adolescents. For this purpose, data from the 14th wave of the Korean Children and Youth Panel Study (KCYPS) were analyzed, including 1,326 adolescents. Reliability analysis, descriptive statistics, and correlation analysis were conducted using SPSS Win 26.0, and dual mediating effects were analyzed with Model 6 of the SPSS PROCESS macro 4.2. The results revealed that first, the study found that adolescent smartphone addiction showed negative correlations with peer support, teacher support, and school adjustment. Specifically, higher levels of smartphone addiction were associated with lower levels of support from friends and teachers, as well as decreased school adjustment. second, smartphone addiction indirectly influenced school adaptation through peer support and teacher
