25.0과 SPSS PROCESS macro ver.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify whether learning motivation and hope serve as serial double mediators in the relationship between learning engagement and successful aging among participants in lifelong education programs at senior community centers and to provide foundational data for promoting successful aging. The study subjects were selected through random sampling from participants in lifelong education programs at senior community centers in S city, Chungnam province, and data were collected through a survey. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS PC+ Win. ver. 25.0 and SPSS PROCESS macro ver. 4.2. The statistical methods employed included descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and serial double mediation analysis. The results of the study are as follows: First, the correlations among learning engagement, learning motivation, hope, and successful aging of participants in lifelong education programs at senior community centers were statistically significant for all variables. Second, learning motivation and hope served as serial double mediators in the relationship between learning engagement and successful aging among participants in lifelong education programs at senior community centers. The findings of this study suggest that the results can be utilized as a new model to promote successful aging among participants in lifelong education programs at senior community centers.
