본 연구는 자살 중간 위험 수준에 있는 청소년의 또래관계 경험의 내용과 구조를 파악하는 것이다. 본 연구를 위해 자살 중간 위험 수준에 있는 청소년 6명을 연구 참여자로 선정하여 심층 면담을 하였고, 수집된 자료는 Giorgi(2004)의 현상학적 연구 방법에 근거한 4단계 절차를 토대로 분석하였다. 분석한결과, 또래관계 경험의 내용으로 81개의 의미 단위와 13개의 하위 구성요소 및 4개의 구성요소로 나타났고, 4개의 구성요소는 ‘관심’, ‘거리감’, ‘통제함’, ‘통제받음’으로 확인되었다. 또래관계 경험의 구조는또래관계의 접근성과 또래관계의 통제 의도로 구분이 되고, 또래관계의 접근성에는 ‘관심’과 ‘거리감’이포함되고, 또래관계의 통제 의도에는 ‘통제함’과 ‘통제받음’이 포함된다. 그리고 이 4개의 구성요소는 교차적으로 서로 상호작용을 하는 것으로 확인되었다. 이 결과를 토대로 논의하고, 연구의 의의와 제언을하였다.
Abstract
This study explored the content and structure of peer relationship experiences among adolescents at intermediate risk of suicide. Six participants were selected for in-depth interviews, and data were analyzed using Giorgi's phenomenological method. The analysis revealed 81 meaning units, 13 sub-components, and 4 main components: “excessive interest," “distance," “controlling," and “being controlled" These components were categorized into two areas: accessibility of peer relationships and intention to control peer relationships. Accessibility includes “excessive interest" and “distance," while intention to control encompasses “controlling" and “being controlled." The study confirmed that these four components interact with each other. The findings are discussed on terms of their implications and suggestions for future research.
