초록
The deformed shape of the tip of an embroidery slope of 14 (Embo-S14ps) needles used in performance of semi- permanent makeup procedures was observed using scanning electron microscopy. Analysis of the constituent elements and components of the material attached to the body and surface of the needle was performed using energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. For Embo-S14ps, all 14 needle tips were deformed and malformed. In particular, the tip of the longest needle was severely crushed, resembling a mushroom cap, and the length of its apical surface was 60㎛. The irregular deformed shape of the tip of the needle is caused by flatness, distortion, and bluntness. The Embo- S14ps needle appeared to be constructed from steel composed of the elements Fe, Cr, Ni, Mn, and Si, and the dirty- looking amorphous substance attached to the body of the needle was confirmed to be tin.
