초록

In this study, an analysis of the fine morphology of two types of black ink pigments used in cosmetic tattooing was performed using light microscopy and scanning electron microscopy. Using the optical microscope, the A(Impact blackTM) ink pigment formed lumps that were irregular in shape, and were randomly aggregated and observed. The mass of B(Real blackTM) ink pigment was oval in shape and had relatively distinct edges. Using the scanning electron microscope, the A ink pigment formed an elongated clump with irregular edges. Measurement of these lumps of pigment showed a major axis diameter of 58 ㎛ and a minor axis diameter of 115 ㎛. The mass of the B ink pigment was is oval in shape with fine spherical structures attached to the edge boundary. measurement of these limps of pigment a minor axis diameter of 11 ㎛ and a major axis diameter of 15.5 ㎛. In addition, the fine spherical structures had a smooth surface and varied in size, ranging from 250 ㎚ to 1.5 ㎛ in diameter.
