학·군 협약 대학 군사학과의 역할에 관한 연구 : 교과목 편성 방향을 중심으로

현재 우리나라는 저출산으로 인한 인구감소가 점차 심각해지고 있으며 이로 인해 우수한 신임장교 획득에 영향을 주고 있다. 따라서 군은 대학과 협약하여 군사학과를 통해 신임장교를 수급하고 있지만, 이에 대한 여러 문제점들이 대두되고 있어 군은 더 이상 인력 수급에만 급급해서는 안 될 상황에 놓이고 있다. 따라서 이 연구는 군사학과에 관한 여러 주장들 중에 군 복무를 시작하는 신임장교들의 임무수행태세 완비를 위한 학·군 협약 대학 군사학과의 역할에 관하여 제언하기 위해 연구하였다. 이를 위해 학·군 협약 군사학과 출신 장교들의 지휘관들과 인터뷰를 실시하여 임무수행 실태를 확인하였고, 그들의 보수교육 기관 성적을 분석하는 등 학·군 협약 군사학과 출신 장교들의 현 실태를 진단하였다. 위와 같은 진단을 통해 가설을 설정하고 검증하였으며, 이를 통해 학·군 협약 대학 군사학과의 역할에 대하여 제언하였다. 이를 통해 본 논제가 주는 함의는 첫째, 군사학의 범위와 영역을 확대하여 군사(軍事, The Military) 부분을 지속 발전시켜야 하며 둘째, 학·군 협약 군사학과는 실무형 교과목을 확충시키고, 군 양성기관과 상호협력하여 연계성 있는 교육을 실시함으로써 신임장교의 즉각적인 임무수행태세를 완비시켜 군사력 건설 분야의 발전을 도모해야 한다는 점을 시사하고 있다.
Abstract
Currently, the military is having difficulty obtaining excellent new officers. Therefore, the military is in an agreement with universities to supply and demand new officers, but the military is no longer in a situation where it should only focus on manpower supply and demand of manpower. Therefore, this study was conducted to suggest the role of the military department of the university under the school-military agreement to complete the mission performance posture of new officers. To this end, the current status of officers from the military department of the school-military agreement was diagnosed by conducting interviews with commanders from the military department of the school-military agreement to confirm the mission performance. The hypothesis was established and verified through the above diagnosis. The implications of this thesis suggest that first, the military sector should be continuously developed by expanding the scope of military science, and second, the military department of the school-military agreement should expand practical subjects to promote the development of the military construction field.
