정신장애인의 먹고살기에 관한 탐색적 연구

본 연구는 정신장애인의 먹고살기가 가지는 의미를 이해하고, 그것의 사회적 특성을 재인식하고자 하는 목적이 있다. 정신장애인의 먹고살기는 정신장애인이 평범한 인간으로 사회와 관계하며 살아가는 세상과의 통로이다. 정신장애인의 탈시설화와 지역사회통합이라는 관점을 유지하면서도 정신장애인의 먹고살기가 가지는 일상성과 사회적 영역을 재인식하는 것이 필요하다. 정신장애인의 먹고살기에 대한 당사자적 이해를 바탕으로 하면 현 상황으로부터 탈피가 아니라 먹고살기 위해서 어느 정도 준비된 사람의 자연스러운 욕구이자 계획이다. 결론적으로 경제적이면서 개인적이고, 일상적이면서 평범한 정신장애인의 먹고살기는 결국 사회적 영역에서부터 재인식하는 것이 필요하다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to understand the meaning of making a living for people with mental disabilities and to recognize its social characteristics. The livelihood of the mentally disabled is a gateway to the world where the mentally disabled live in relationship with society as ordinary human beings. While maintaining the perspective of deinstitutionalization and community integration of the mentally disabled, it is necessary to recognize the daily life and social sphere of making a living for the mentally disabled again. Based on the person's understanding of how mentally disabled people make a living, it is not an escape from the current situation, but a natural need and plan of a person who is somewhat prepared to make a living. In conclusion, it is necessary to recognize the economic and personal, everyday and ordinary ways of making a living for people with mental disabilities from the social realm.
