초록

This study presents the development of high-performance front and rear boss components for hydrogen fuel cell vehicles through a closed-die aluminum warm forging process, employing AI6061 alloy. The research emphasizes the design and optimization of closed-dies to ensure superior material utilization, dimensional accuracy, and structural integrity. Finite element analyses were conducted to investigate metal flow behavior and forging pressures, corroborating the experimental results obtained under controlled warm forging conditions. The mechanical characterization, including tensile and yield strength evaluations, demonstrated significant enhancements in material properties, attributable to microstructural refinement and the uniform distribution of the β' phase precipitate during T6 heat treatment. Thermal shock testing under extreme cyclic temperature variations confirmed the structural stability and reliability of the forged components. The findings highlight the efficacy of the closed-die warm forging process in achieving high strength-to-weight ratios, critical for hydrogen storage systems, and contribute valuable insights to the advancement of lightweight, high-durability automotive components for sustainable mobility.
