국내 ICT 기반 교양교육 연구 동향 —학술지 논문을 중심으로—

본 연구는 ICT 기반 교양교육의 연구 동향을 연도별, 주제별로 구분하여 그 특징과 시사점을 밝히는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 학술연구정보서비스(RISS)에서 ICT 관련 키워드를 입력 후교양교육을 검색하여 총 1,324편의 논문을 수집하였다. 이 중에서 중복된 자료 및 학술대회발표 자료, 그리고 ICT 기반 교양교육과 직접적인 관련이 없는 논문을 연구 대상에서 제외하였다. 그리하여 최종적으로 선정된 총 344편의 논문을 분석 대상으로 삼았으며 이를 연도별과 주제별로 구분하여 분석하였다. 먼저 연도별 분석 결과 최근 4년간(2020-2023) 수행된 연구가 분석 논문 총 344편 중281편으로 81.6%나 차지하고 있어 ICT 기반 교양교육 연구가 최근 들어 급격히 증가하고있다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 다음으로 주제별 분석은 논문 제목과 내용을 살핀 ‘교과개발, 교육 이론, ICT 개발 및 활용 사례, 학습⋅학습자 분석, 담론’ 총 5개의 주제로 범주화하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 총 344편의 논문 중에서 ICT 기반 교양교육의 주제별 연구의경우 ‘ICT 개발 및 활용 사례(113) > 학습⋅학습자 분석(106) > 교과 개발(47) > 담론(40) > 교육 이론(38)’ 순으로 연구되었다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 더 나아가 그 주제들의 하위 키워드를 분류한 결과, ‘ICT 개발 및 활용 사례’에서 ‘ICT 활용 수업’에 대한 키워드 연구가67편으로 가장 높았다. 이상의 분석 결과에서 나타난 특징 및 시사점으로 ICT 기반 교양교육 연구가 양적으로증가하고 있으며, 분야별 균형 있는 연구가 이루어져야 한다는 점을 밝히었다.
Abstract
This study aims to identify research trends in ICT-based liberal arts education by year and thema and reveal their characteristics and implications. For this study, a total of 1,324 papers were collected by entering ICT-related keywords and searching for liberal education in the Research Information Sharing Service (RISS). Among these, duplicate data, presentations at academic conferences, and papers not directly related to ICT-based liberal arts education were excluded. Therefore, a total of 344 papers were finally selected for analysis, and they were analyzed by year and thema. Initially, as a yearly analysis, research conducted during the preceding four years (2020-2023) comprised 281 papers out of the total 344 papers analyzed, representing a substantial proportion of 81.6%. This finding corroborates the significant uptrend in research about ICT-based liberal arts education. Subsequently, in the case of thematic analysis, the title and content of the paper were examined and categorized into five themes: ‘curriculum development, educational theory, ICT development and use cases, learning/learner analysis, and discourse’ and then analyzed. As a result, it was found that among a total of 344 papers, research on the topics of ICT-based liberal arts education was conducted in the following order: ICT development and use cases (113) > learning⋅learner analysis (106) > curriculum development (47) > discourse (40) > educational theory (38). Furthermore, upon classifying the sub-keywords of those topics, within the theme of ‘ICT development and use cases’, keyword research on ‘classes using ICT’ was the most prevalent, with 67 articles. The findings from the analysis of the research trends above indicate, firstly, a quantitative increase in research on ICT-based liberal arts education, and secondly, 국내 ICT 기반 교양교육 연구 동향 189 the necessity of conducting balanced research across various fields has been revealed.
