Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the process of organic context in which Senior become social entrepreneurs. Five Senior who participated in the community of practice and grew up as social entrepreneurs were selected as research participants. The process of growth as a social entrepreneur is divided into five periods. First, it is latent period. The Senior took computer courses and felt fun and became natural. Second, it is the combined period. The Senior, who have formed a community of practice and have begun volunteering free educational services in their communities through learning outcomes, tacitly combine with social entrepreneurship to solve social problems. Third, it is the early period. Senior who are at risk of extinction due to the poverty of Senior and the lack of operating funds of the community of practice seek to change into a profitable community, pursue a full-fledged social economy and grow up as social entrepreneurs. Fourth, it is a birthday. It is transformed from ordinary Senior to social entrepreneur with the certification of social enterprise with the capability of producing computer educational service and video contents and implementing business model built by practice community. Fifth, it is the growth period. We work together to organize learning and work in the workplace, and receive the growth engine through the learning of the specialized field, and continue to grow as a social entrepreneur. In this process, learning of the practice community has revealed a leading role in cultivating social entrepreneurs, and it is important to reveal the view of the birth, growth and sustainability of social entrepreneurs.
