Abstract
The purpose of this study is to find out how digital play and activities affect children's creativity. The subjects of the study were 41 children aged 5 (20 in the experimental group and 21 in the comparative group) who were enrolled in two kindergartens with similar social and economic backgrounds. The experimental group prepared various digital devices and tools to express intellectual play and activities, supported digital play in each situation for young children, and conducted digital activities through the guidance of teachers. The comparative group had a play-oriented free play. As a result of the study, it was found that children in the experimental group who conducted digital play and activities significantly improved their creativity than those in the comparative group who experienced free play-oriented education. This suggests that digital play and activities can be effective teaching strategies and educational methods for improving children's creativity, so digital play and activities should be expanded in early childhood education.
