Abstract
The purpose of this study is to develop a program to strengthen the professionalism of artificial intelligence education of elementary pre-service teachers. This program was developed and applied to 24 pre-service teachers attending the University of Education in Gyeongnam from April 2023 to July 2023. AI competency measurement tests were conducted on 24 participating pre-service teachers to analyze the results, and in-depth analysis of journals of three pre-service teachers was conducted to identify changes in teaching professionalism. As a result, the average score of the three AI competency measurement tests showed a statistically significant improvement. In addition, it was confirmed that positive growth in teaching professionalism appeared according to the stage of the program in the journal of the pre-service teacher. If the five stages of this program are applied to improve the artificial intelligence teaching professionalism of pre-service teachers, it is expected to be used as useful data to enhance artificial intelligence capabilities and teaching professionalism, and follow-up studies are needed to confirm these expectations.
