SW영재학급의 발전을 위한 시사점 연구: 담당교사의 인식 조사를 중심으로

본 연구에서는 2022년 SW영재학급을 운영하는 현장 교사의 인식을 조사하고 실제 현장에서 어떤 방법으로 SW영재학급이 운영되고 있는지 분석하고자 하였다. 교사를 대상으로 SW영재학급 운영 전 사전 조사를 실시하고 운영 마무리 단계에서 사후 조사를 하여 교사의 SW영재학급 학생, 운영 전반과 프로그램에 대한 시사점을 파악하였다. 분석 결과 교사 스스로의 역량과 SW영재교육의 효과성 인식 점수는 높아졌으나 학생의 진로 인식 점수는 낮게 나타났다. 본 연구의 시사점으로는 첫째, SW영재학급을 지원하면서 교사의 역량을 강화할 수 있는 다양한 방식의 체계적인 연수를 제공할 필요가 있다. 둘째, SW영재학급 운영 전반에서 만족도가 향상되고 있으며 특히 SW영재교육에 대한 교사의 인식이 개선되고 있다. 셋째, 학생의 진로와 관련된 문항의 점수는 전반적으로 낮게 나타났으며, 이는 초·중등 모두를 아우르는 진로 프로그램을 도입해 미래를 대비해야 할 필요성을 보여 준다.
Abstract
In this study, various implications for the development of the SW gifted class were derived by investigating the perception of field teachers who operate the SW gifted class in 2022 and analyzing how the SW gifted class is operated in the actual field. The implications obtained from the results of investigating teachers' competence and awareness of SW gifted education, students' SW propensity recognized by teachers, and related career setting are as follows. First, it is necessary to provide systematic training in various ways to strengthen teachers' capabilities while supporting SW gifted classes. Second, the overall level of satisfaction with the operation of the SW gifted class is improving, and teachers' awareness of SW gifted education is improving in particular. Third, the scores of the questions related to the student's career were generally low, which shows the need to prepare for the future by introducing a career program that covers both elementary and secondary schools.
