초록
There is no case of decommissioning the Pressurized Heavy Water Reactor (PHWR) inthe world, and a similar cases related to the decommissioning of the PHWR Reactor assembly are theexperiences of replacing the pressure tube (fuel channel assembly) and the calandria tube. In Korea, there is a case of replacing the pressure tube (fuel channel assembly) and the calandria tube for theWolsong Unit 1. This paper examines the standard work and process for decommissioning of thePHWR Reactor assembly with reference to this case. For the decommissioning of the PHWR Reactorassembly, the standard work and process are prepared based on the description of the structure of theReactor assembly and the order of dismantling the structure in consideration of the specific structureof the Reactor assembly. In order to standardize the decommissioning standard work and process, it isnecessary to set the dismantling area and the work difficulty factor. The unit decommissioning areasare set by including the information such as major SSCs, radiation zone classification and building namefor each zone. The work difficulty factors are to consider additional time that is unavoidably caused bythe radiation environment and work environment during dismantling work. The work difficulty factorsinclude work accessibility, wearing protective equipments, work permit and approval in the radiationcontrol area, and work break time, etc.
