초록
The decommissioning of nuclear facilities should minimize the worker exposure, thegeneration of radioactive waste and its impact on environment, and should reduce costs by optimizingthe decommissioning process. For safe and economical decommissioning, it is necessary to design inconsideration of decommissioning-related matters such as minimization of facility and environmentalcontamination and the minimization of radioactive waste in preparation for decommissioning fromthe design stage. Therefore, this paper reviewed the regulatory requirements for consideringdecommissioning at the design stage, which should be considered to prepare for future decommissioningand not expected to affect the operational safety of nuclear facilities, and the design cases reflected ondomestic nuclear power plants when designing nuclear facilities. This is accomplished by reviewing theregulatory requirements, and analyzing the composition of a preliminary decommissioning plan. Thereflection of the design of domestic nuclear power plants was reviewed, with emphasis on the APR1400Design Control Document and Preliminary decommissioning plan for Shin-Kori Unit 56.
