초록

North Korea’s nuclear weapons threat to South Korea is increasing day by day, and public interest isalso growing. However, we have not been able to find an accurate answer to the question of whether North Korea’snuclear attack will take place, how much damage it will cause if it happens, and what we will prepare to minimizethe damage. The subject of this research analyzed how much damage South Korea would get from various types ofNorth Korea’s nuclear weapons attacks. The scope of the research is limited to military and civilian airports amongnational important facilities, “A” grade in South Korea. There are various sizes and types of nuclear weapons in NorthKorea. Therefore, the scope of the analysis is limited to tactical nuclear weapons attacks. Through this research, weanalyzed the damage scale of South Korea from North Korea's tactical nuclear attack through simulation. And we alsosuggested countermeasures such as establishing protective facilities and minimizing damage caused by damage tomilitary and civilian airports among national important facilities, ‘A’ grade. The simulation program is NUKEMAP byAlex Wellerstein.
