본 연구는 간호대학생의 생성형 인공지능 활용 경험이 AI 자기효능감에 미치는 영향에서 비판적 사고 성향의 매개효과를확인하고자 수행되었다. C지역 간호대학 2·3·4학년 502명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS 25.0과PROCESS Macro(Model 4)를 활용하여 분석하였다. 부트스트래핑 5,000회 반복을 통해 매개효과의 유의성을 검증하였다. 연구 결과, 생성형 AI 활용 경험은 비판적 사고 성향과 AI 자기효능감 모두에 유의한 정적 영향을 미쳤으며, 비판적 사고 성향 또한 AI 자기효능감을 유의하게 예측하였다. 생성형 AI 활용이 AI 자기효능감에 미치는 간접효과는 유의한 것으로 나타나, 비판적 사고 성향의부분 매개효과가 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 간호교육에서 생성형 AI 활용 경험을 단순 기술 습득 차원을 넘어, 비판적 사고를 촉진하는 교수·학습 전략과 연계할 필요가 있음을 시사한다. 본 연구는 간호대학생의 AI 활용 경험이 인지적 역량과 학습 성과에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 제시함으로써, 향후 AI 리터러시 및 사고력 기반 교육모형 개발의 기초자료를 제공한다.
Abstract
This study examined the mediating effect of critical thinking disposition on the relationship between generative artificial intelligence utilization experience and AI self-efficacy among nursing students. A total of 502 students in the 2nd-4th years at a nursingcollege in region C participated in the survey. Data were analyzed using SPSS 25.0 and PROCESS Macro (Model 4), and the significance of the mediation effect was verified through 5,000 bootstrap resamples. The results indicated that generative AI utilization hada significant positive effect on both critical thinking disposition and AI self-efficacy. Critical thinking disposition also significantlypredicted AI self-efficacy. The indirect effect of generative AI utilization on AI self-efficacy through critical thinking disposition wassignificant, confirming a partial mediating effect. These findings suggest that generative AI use in nursing education should be integrated with instructional strategies that foster critical thinking, enabling learners to analyze and evaluate AI-generated information. This study provides empirical evidence on the cognitive mechanisms underlying AI utilization among nursing students and offersfoundational insights for developing AI literacy and critical thinking-oriented educational models in nursing education.
