초록
The high school credit system allows students to choose and complete courses according to their career plans and graduate when accumulated credits reach the threshold. Under the high school credit system in the 2022 revised curriculum, students are allowed to take career/convergence elective courses regardless of the type of high school. For the incubation of creative-convergent talents, convergence elective courses in connection with other courses were proposed in this study. To this end, inter-regular course convergence, inter-cultural course convergence, intermajor course convergence, and trans-disciplinary convergence courses were suggested. For convergence elective courses for the department of cosmetology, the following are suggested: First, under the 2015 revised high school curriculums, regular and cultural courses include ‘Convergence Science’, ‘Chemistry I’, ‘Life Science I’, ‘Life and Science’, ‘Art Creation’, ‘Practical English’, ‘Chinese I’, ‘Japanese I’, and ‘Philosophy’. In addition, elective courses based on convergence between cosmetology subjects include ‘Cosmetology Science’, ‘Cosmetology Work Creation’, ‘Cosmetology English’, ‘Cosmetology Chinese’, ‘Cosmetology Japanese’, and ‘Aesthetics’. Second, other major courses include ‘Art History’ and ‘Stage Tech’ in art, ‘Chemical Material Management’ and ‘Manufacture of Biochemical Products’ in chemical engineering, ‘Corporation and Business Management’ in business management and finance, ‘Fundamentals of Nursing’ in public health & welfare, ‘Color Management’, and ‘Basics to Motion Picture Production’ in design & cultural contents and ‘Food and Nutrition’ in cooking. In addition, convergence elective courses based on convergence among cosmetology subjects include ‘History of Cosmetology Culture’, ‘Makeup’, ‘Management of Cosmetology Chemicals’, ‘Manufacture of Cosmetology Cosmetics’, ‘Cosmetology Management’, ‘Hospital Coordinator’, ‘Cosmetology Chromatics’, ‘Beauty Creator’, and ‘Inner Beauty’. Third, trans-disciplinary convergence-based convergence elective courses include ‘Self-Makeup & Hairstyling’, ‘Cosmetics & Life’, and ‘Image Making.’
