Some issues, such as a major factor in educational value, in addition to general education policies, primary education, middle school education, and high education systems of the Mashreq and Maghreb Arab countries were discussed. Also, with elaboration upon reasons from different viewpoints that might give us implications to extend educational horizon of understanding to Arab society. The common feature of Saudi Arabia and Tunisia is a principle of free education. In addition, the education of Saudi Arabia is a process of accumulation of Islamic values and ideals, and the identity of the Arabs is secured in the curriculum and direction. On the other hand, Tunisia is the notion that major national education emphasizes social and public aspects, giving education opportunities to the whole people. They follow a principle of international education, which is in accordance with the characteristics of the French interdisciplinary standards and balances the Islamic and Mediterranean cultures.
