Recent surveys show that the students from multi-cultural families experience problems of language barriers, low academic performance, school bullying, etc. As they pass puberty, these problems might affect their emotional as well as intellectual development, inducing the serious issues in our society. To prevent such deterioration, we should provide a special program for middle or high school students, which is helpful for their academic performances as well as their emotional stability. This study aims to propose a workshop program for middle or high school teachers who have the potential ability to guide and teach the multi-cultural students in local areas. The language teachers with their linguistic knowledge and their teaching experience can be potential mentors for the students. The program suggested in this study can be a pilot case for extended multi-cultural education.
