The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of the application of creativity․convergence-based English micro-teaching using cultural books for pre-service primary school teachers. Creativity in education has become a fast-growing topic on the internet for education in Korea. Also, convergence- based English education aims at helping students improve not only in the four basic skills of English, but also in cross-curricula integration. The source of data for this study is a questionnaire that was completed by 58 English education major students. Specifically, they used cultural books for their English micro-teaching lesson. In this paper, we can find that convergence-based micro-teaching is more effective and more interesting than traditional methods for pre-service primary school teachers.
